Watching HDTV on notebooks is now a reality thanks to AutumnWave's OnAir GT. The complete name of this device is OnAir GT Mobile HDTV USB Tuner and DVR. It is a USB tuner that simply by plugging it into the laptop allows watching HDTV on notebooks. Its small size really makes the OnAir GT the perfect device to view HDTV while on the move.

Once the OnAir GT is plugged in the notebook the user will have at his disposable a handy software to control the device. A quick scan will find and store all the HDTV offering that the OnAir GT is able to catch. The OnAir GT supports the NTSC, the ATSC and the QAM standards so finding enough HDTV content will not be a problem.

When watching HDTV on notebooks or on any other device the viewing quality is important and the OnAir GT performs well when the signal is acceptable.

As its name suggest besides watching HDTV on notebooks there is also the possibility to record the HDTV content. The usual features like pausing, recording and rewinding are supported by the AutumnWave's OnAir GT.

The included software also makes it easy to schedule a recording and there is the possibility to schedule up to 80 events. The amount of hours that can be stored on the notebook depends on the hard disk capacity (at an high resolution, one hour of HDTV content takes almost 4GB).
