When we look for a portable hard drive we scan the available models searching for two things: storage capacity and transfer rate (when we do not want to wait ages, right?). One of the best solutions on the market is MaxFile Attaché 12GB USB 2.0 Micro Hard Drive, manufactured by PNY Technologies.

It is a compact drive (2" x 1.75" x .75") that sports an impressive, for this kind of devices, 11MB/s transfer rate. The size, considering the dimensions of the MaxFile Attachè and the capacity of its competitors, is amazing too because it can hold up to 12GB of data. This eliminates the annoying problem of having to burn CDs or DVD to carry a (relatively) big amount of files.

PNY also included in the device a friendly software to easily backup data and a synchronization utility.
